Enumeration describing how a drive can be started/stopped.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Unknown or drive doesn't support start/stop.


The stop method will physically shut down the drive and e.g. power down the port the drive is attached to.


The start/stop methods are used for connecting/disconnect to the drive over the network.
