pub struct PollableOutputStream { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
GPollableOutputStream
is implemented by OutputStream
s that
can be polled for readiness to write. This can be used when
interfacing with a non-GIO API that expects
UNIX-file-descriptor-style asynchronous I/O rather than GIO-style.
Some classes may implement GPollableOutputStream
but have only certain
instances of that class be pollable. If PollableOutputStreamExt::can_poll()
returns false, then the behavior of other GPollableOutputStream
methods is
undefined.

fn write_bytes( &self, bytes: &Bytes, cancellable: Option<&impl IsA<Cancellable>>, ) -> Result<isize, Error>
A wrapper function for g_output_stream_write() which takes a
#GBytes as input. This can be more convenient for use by language
bindings or in other cases where the refcounted nature of #GBytes
is helpful over a bare pointer interface. Read more

fn write_bytes_async<P: FnOnce(Result<isize, Error>) + 'static>( &self, bytes: &Bytes, io_priority: Priority, cancellable: Option<&impl IsA<Cancellable>>, callback: P, )
This function is similar to g_output_stream_write_async(), but
takes a #GBytes as input. Due to the refcounted nature of #GBytes,
this allows the stream to avoid taking a copy of the data. Read more
