pub struct CellRendererText { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A CellRendererText renders a given text in its cell, using the font, color and style information provided by its properties. The text will be ellipsized if it is too long and the property::CellRendererText::ellipsize property allows it.

If the property::CellRenderer::mode is CellRendererMode::Editable, the CellRendererText allows to edit its text using an entry.

Implements

CellRendererTextExt, CellRendererExt, glib::ObjectExt

Implementations

Creates a new CellRendererText. Adjust how text is drawn using object properties. Object properties can be set globally (with [ObjectExt::set()][crate::glib::prelude::ObjectExt::set()]). Also, with TreeViewColumn, you can bind a property to a value in a TreeModel. For example, you can bind the “text” property on the cell renderer to a string value in the model, thus rendering a different string in each row of the TreeView

Returns

the new cell renderer

Creates a new builder-pattern struct instance to construct CellRendererText objects.

This method returns an instance of CellRendererTextBuilder which can be used to create CellRendererText objects.
