Struct BufferedInputStream

Source
pub struct BufferedInputStream { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Buffered input stream implements FilterInputStream and provides for buffered reads.

By default, GBufferedInputStream’s buffer size is set at 4 kilobytes.

To create a buffered input stream, use new(), or new_sized() to specify the buffer’s size at construction.

To get the size of a buffer within a buffered input stream, use BufferedInputStreamExt::buffer_size(). To change the size of a buffered input stream’s buffer, use BufferedInputStreamExt::set_buffer_size(). Note that the buffer’s size cannot be reduced below the size of the data within the buffer.

§Properties

§buffer-size

The size of the backend buffer, in bytes.

Readable | Writeable | Construct

FilterInputStream

§base-stream

The underlying base stream on which the I/O ops will be done.

Readable | Writeable | Construct Only

§close-base-stream

Whether the base stream should be closed when the filter stream is closed.

Readable | Writeable | Construct

§Implements

BufferedInputStreamExt, FilterInputStreamExt, InputStreamExt, [trait@glib::ObjectExt], SeekableExt, InputStreamExtManual

GLib type: GObject with reference counted clone semantics.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BufferedInputStream

Source

pub const NONE: Option<&'static BufferedInputStream> = None

Source

pub fn new(base_stream: &impl IsA<InputStream>) -> BufferedInputStream

Creates a new InputStream from the given @base_stream, with a buffer set to the default size (4 kilobytes).

§base_stream

a InputStream

§Returns

a InputStream for the given @base_stream.

Source

pub fn new_sized( base_stream: &impl IsA<InputStream>, size: usize, ) -> BufferedInputStream

Creates a new BufferedInputStream from the given @base_stream, with a buffer set to @size.

§base_stream

a InputStream

§size

a #gsize

§Returns

a InputStream.

Source

pub fn builder() -> BufferedInputStreamBuilder

Creates a new builder-pattern struct instance to construct BufferedInputStream objects.

This method returns an instance of BufferedInputStreamBuilder which can be used to create BufferedInputStream objects.
